The Texas Children's Global Health Corps is a successor to the BIPAI Pediatric AIDS Corps. This new program expanded the scope of the Pediatric AIDS Corps beyond HIV/AIDS to include other diseases and conditions impacting child health and survival globally.
Each summer, through funding from Chevron’s Corporate Responsibility Initiative, the Baylor College of Medicine International Pediatrics AIDS Initiative (BIPAI) and Texas Children’s Global Health offers a graduate-level internship in Houston, Texas.
BIPAI provides specialized learning experiences for more than 100 medical student and residents each year.
