This handbook provides simple guidelines and protocols for treatment of pediatric cancer for use by ward officers in resource limited settings. It was compiled and edited by Dr. Parth Mehta, a Pediatric AIDS Corps physician and cancer specialist based in BIPAI-Botswana.
Practical Approaches to Implementation and Scale Up: This 56-page guide is designed for use by agencies that are working to improve pediatric HIV prevention, care and treatment. It was created by the World Health Organization and UNICEF, with BIPAI's input, in 2009. It was written on behalf of the Expanded Inter-Agency Task Team (IATT) on Prevention of HIV Infection in Pregnant Women, Mothers and their Children.
